License Agreement
Before purchasing PipingOffice, it is requested
that you please read this license agreement. Payment of
the license fee indicates that you accept the following
terms.
This is a legal agreement between you, the end user, and
Ben A. Nottingham. Per this agreement, Ben A. Nottingham
licenses the PipingOffice spreadsheets and data
files (the "SOFTWARE"), in whole or in part,
for use only by the terms set forth herein.
Purchasers, who do not agree to these terms, will be
eligible to receive full refund less handling, shipping,
and reseller fee (if any) by informing Ben A. Nottingham
within 15 days after purchase, and the media must be
destroyed. Purchasers are otherwise allowed a period of
30 days for evaluation of the product, and if not
satisfied, the amount of money paid less handling,
shipping, and reseller fee costs will be refunded, and
the media must be destroyed. Seller's records
including copies of checks, money orders, and payment
records will confirm proof of purchase.

Grant of License:
Ben A. Nottingham grants to you the right to use PipingOffice as stated on your proof of purchase. Single User License may be used on a single terminal connected to a single computer (i.e., single CPU). Workgroup License may be used on a network or on multiple computers provided that no more than fifteen (15) actual users (i.e., non-technical workers are not counted) have permission to use the SOFTWARE. Site License may be installed on multiple networks for unlimited use within a single geographical location. Pricing for workgroup users = 3 x price for single user. Pricing for site users = 5 x price for single user. -
Warranty:
The spreadsheet files do not contain password protections, thus the formulas can easily be overwritten. Because software is inherently complex and may not be completely free of errors, you are advised to verify your work and to make backup copies. The user is responsible to verify the methods and results from the software are correct. In no event will Ben A. Nottingham be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of or inability to use the SOFTWARE or user documentation, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In no case shall Ben A. Nottingham's liability exceed the amount paid by you for the SOFTWARE. -
Rights:
Ben A. Nottingham wants to own all intellectual property rights but there are no trade secrets or confidential information in the SOFTWARE and user documentation. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you may cut, paste or insert PipingOffice data, calculation results or tables from the SOFTWARE for use solely in professionally or otherwise prepared engineering calculations, internal documents and presentations. -
Purchase Outside United States:
If you purchased this product for use outside the United States of America, you agree to the following: The parties are aware that the product and this Agreement, as well as all other documents relating hereto, including Notices, have been and shall be drawn up in the English language only. -
General:
This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States of America, except for that body of law dealing with conflicts of law.
